Amine is a dynamo and always on the lookout for new challenges. He is primarily sought out for his great intellectual curiosity, his thoroughness, and his ability to manage numerous responsibilities with ease. He uses his swift sense of scrutiny to identify the underlying complexities of the issues brought to him.
After completing his bar internship at Monette Barakett, he became a member of its legal team in 2019.
Prior to his law studies, Amine also completed a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations. He then worked in human resources recruitment, allowing him to develop strong customer and management skills.
At the firm, he mainly dedicates his practice to the areas of labour law, occupational health and safety – management of attendance at work and civil litigation. He is called upon to advise clients in their day-to-day management of labour relations, particularly with regards to hiring and termination of employment, the imposition of disciplinary or administrative measures, workplace harassment and grievance management. He negotiates collective agreements, examines questions of interpretation of collective agreements and works on claims for employment injury.
Amine pleads before administrative and legal tribunals.
He contributes to the various publications, works and training of the firm.

Monette Barakett
During his studies at Université de Montréal, Amine made the Dean’s Honour List for his academic excellence both as a law student and also while working towards his industrial relations degree.
Amine also attended a summer program at Universidad de Costa Rica where he perfected his knowledge of Spanish, while taking courses in environmental law and health law.
