Those who have met Frédérique know that her zest for life is contagious. As energetic as she is meticulous, she fully invests herself in the challenges presented to her, both professionally and in the sports she plays.
Frédérique became a member of the Monette Barakett team in 2020 after completing her bar internship.
As part of the legal team, she works mainly in labour law and occupational health and safety – work attendance management. She works on employment injury claims and also advises clients on day-to-day management of their labour relations, namely when it comes to the application of administrative and disciplinary measures.
Frédérique takes on jurisprudence research and also prepares proceedings, arguments and legal opinions. She also contributes to the firm’s various publications, works, training sessions and talks.
She also appears before common law tribunals to argue institutional care ordinance and medical care authorization cases.
As a complement to her practice, Frédérique is currently finishing a Masters-level program in occupational health and wellness.
Achievements, implications, awards
Frédérique serves on the board of Infologis de l’Est de l’Île de Montréal, a community organization supporting housing rights.
Frédérique became involved in the housing rights within the community sector during her university studies. She also spent a semester at Valencia University in Spain to further her knowledge of Spanish.
Frédérique’s involvement in numerous extracurricular and community initiatives earned her the Lieutenant Governor’s Youth Medal.
