Valérie joined Monette Barakett in July 2018 and her practice focuses mainly on labour law, civil litigation and health and social services law. She involves herself with cases in the early stages and offers the same care in following through in advising employers on preventing disputes. When it comes to litigation, she involves herself on a number of fronts, from research and preliminary analysis to drafting legal opinions, notices of proceedings, proposed settlements and agreements.
Valérie is also called upon to plead cases before common law tribunals, particularly on matters relating to institutional care and medical care authorization. She also contributes to the firm’s different publications and works.
During her law studies at Université de Montréal, Valérie was offered the chance to work as a research assistant for a number of professors, primarily in civil and health law.
