Cédrik joined the firm in March 2025 after completing his articling there. Determined and curious, he values teamwork and the expertise of his colleagues.
During his academic journey, Cédrik gained diverse legal experience. He worked within the Legal Affairs Directorate of the CNESST. He also participated in a Pro Bono project in health law and was involved with the University of Montreal’s Legal Clinic. These experiences allowed him to develop his skills in research and writing legal information. Before starting his law studies, Cédrik also completed studied International Studies at the University of Montreal.
At Monette Barakett, Cédrik primarily practices in labour law, and health and social services law.
In labour relations, Cédrik advises employers on disciplinary and administrative questions, and addresses issues related to the interpretation of collective agreements.
He also practices in occupational health and safety law, where he handles matters regarding questions of eligibility and cost allocation.
In health and social services law, Cédrik appears before civil courts in cases involving treatment and care orders, as well as institutional custody orders.
An amateur athlete in his spare time, Cédrik enjoys the outdoors and traveling.
Since the summer of 2024, Cédrik has been involved with Force Jeunesse, an organization whose mission is notably to defend the interests of Quebec youth in the development of public policies.
