Nicole joined Monette Barakett in April 2026. A trilingual lawyer, she began her career in litigation at a national law firm before practising criminal law. Her professional path has led her to represent and advise a diverse clientele in complex and demanding matters, both in Montréal and in remote regions, including Nunavut. These experiences enabled her to develop strong skills in case management, advocacy, and representation before various courts and tribunals.

Today, Nicole’s practice focuses primarily on labour and employment law where she leverages her litigation background and analytical abilities. Recognized for her intellectual rigour, organizational skills, and attention to detail, she approaches every matter methodically and diligently, providing practical solutions tailored to her clients’ needs and realities.

Nicole adopts an approach that is both personable and pragmatic. Her ability to understand her clients’ concerns allows her to quickly build trust and provide advice that is responsive to their objectives. Whether in negotiations or contentious proceedings, she is fully committed to advancing her clients’ interests with professionalism and discernment.
