Sophie joined the firm in September 2024. She was admitted to the Québec Bar in 2022 after completing her internship at a national law firm.
In addition to her law degree, Sophie holds a minor in psychology and is currently completing a master’s degree in health law and policy.
During her university studies, Sophie was actively involved in her faculty, notably through her participation in the PROFIL Legal Clinic, which provides legal information services to internationally trained professionals to support their integration into the Québec job market. She also volunteered with the student committee of the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice (CIAJ).
At Monette Barakett, Sophie practices in occupational health and safety—particularly in workplace attendance management—as well as in health and social services law, labour law, and civil litigation.
