Jean-René is a curious, dynamic and versatile lawyer. In all situations, Jean-René knows how to offer concrete solutions to support managers.
At Monette Barakett, Jean-René practices in the field of occupational health and safety – attendance management, as well as in labour law, civil litigation and health and social services law.
In terms of occupational health and safety, he advises employers on a daily basis in the management of their OHS files, and he regularly represents companies and institutions before the Administrative Labour Court when situations are contentious. Jean-René is called upon to plead before the ordinary courts in the context of disputes relating to occupational health and safety, in particular in criminal matters.
Relating to labor law , he assists clients in grievance arbitration cases, as well as in various files affecting labor standards or the interpretation of collective agreements.
In the area of civil litigation, Jean-René conducts research, drafting procedures as well as making representations before the courts. He is called upon to advise clients working in various fields of activity.
Outside of work, Jean-René is driven by the outdoors, traveling, running and cycling.
